Screener Versions – Alphabetical by Song

“A Day” – Styx – screener

I love this song! Only heard on the coolest FM stations at night when it came out because of the relatively long run-time. Now you can finally see it in a whole new way. And enjoy the whole song. Take your time. Use great headphones or crank your speakers up to eleven. Midway or so it kicks into overdrive visually. More effort and retakes on this one, but well worth it. Let it take you away… For more great music from Styx go to their official site: www.styxworld.com.

My favorite French violin virtuoso? The incredible Jean Luc Ponty. He invented entirely new sounds for the violin through fusions of beat music, rock, and classical influences combined with innovative use of distortion boxes, MIDI, phase shifters, and wah-wah pedals. Jean played with John Mclaughlin’s Majavishnu Orchestra, toured with Frank Zappa & the Mothers of Invention, and created an ocean of mind-bending music. His influence on jazz, jazz-rock, progressive rock, orchestral, new age, and ambient music cannot be overstated. “Cosmic Messenger” was my introduction to Jean Luc Ponty long ago thanks to a good friend with an impressive record collection. “Fat Old Sun” – David Gilmour – screener

Laser Show Dynamic’s 50th video! Such a milestone required an extraordinarily special musical experience. And so it is. David Gilmour is one of the very best reasons for the invention of the guitar. This British blues master brought a distinctive style and vocals that elevated Pink Floyd’s music over a span of decades. “Fat Old Sun” was first written and sung by Gilmour for Pink Floyd in 1970 for the album “Atom Heart Mother.” A favorite of Pink Floyd tours, it often blossomed into extended instrumental jams that were truly legendary. This track you are about to see through the artistry and magic of Laser Show Dynamic was recorded in 2006 during the David Gilmour solo “On An Island” tour at the Gdansk Shipyard. Pink Floyd bandmate Richard Wright joins David on keyboards, making this very special experience even moreso.
